People: Events Tab
Overview
The purpose of the Events tab is to show the team the total # of candidates added to projects along with the stats on notes made across projects, people, companies and deals within a specified time frame.
The Events tab only becomes meaningful by making sure the entire team categorizes each note every single time. Adding an “Overview”, “Assessment”, or “Next Step” note to a candidate inside a project tracks the same way that making a note at the bottom of the candidate profile does if you were to classify the note as any of the 3 above.
Please note that Tasks DO NOT aggregate any statistics anywhere within the platform despite the categories matching the note categories. The reason for this is a) few people use tasks in favor of using tasks in their Outlook or Gmail and b) tasks are most often associated with booking meetings and therefore there’s no easy way for the platform to know whether or not something actually happened (did a meeting actually occur? Or was it just scheduled) - therefore it’s not aggregated to the “Project” level stats or the Events tab related stats. Only notes are.
Events Tab Visibility
The whole team can see events within the account as well as see all projects
What does “red light to green light” mean?
This indicates when you make someone on a project visible through to the client in a project.
Why does every activity get tracked?
What events should be tracked, has received a ton of logic on the Clockwork side. Candidate status changes are very important to our users. Things like who got DQ'd, by whom, and when did this occur matters a lot. Being that we offer search filters for activity within the system, sorting shouldn’t be an issue. Our users would prefer us to track more activity (not less).
Event Analytics?
We are focused on adding this new layer to the platform very soon. Our developers are focused on this now!
